Bio

Dr. Loy See Ling is a Principal Investigator at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and holds a joint appointment as Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. She is currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Centre (2025–2026), awarded under the American Heart Association International Visiting Professorship. She obtained her PhD in Human Nutrition from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014, with research expertise in life course epidemiology, reproductive health, and chrononutrition.

Dr. Loy leads a multidisciplinary research programme focused on the metabolic and reproductive health of women and men, with particular emphasis on the preconception period. She has secured several competitive funding from the National Medical Research Council to advance research in reproductive and chrono-behavioural health, encompassing risk factor identification, predictive modelling, and intervention development. Her work integrates early life course frameworks and digital innovations to optimise health outcomes among couples planning for parenthood and families with young children.
