Bio
Assistant Professor Sarada Bulchand heads the Duke-NUS Centre for Career Readiness. She is Deputy Co-Lead at the Centre for Clinician Educator Development Co-Director of the Duke-NUS Premed Course.
Dr Bulchand is a WSG certified career coach. She is trained in fundamentals of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Immunity to Change and Conflict Management. She runs programmes in emotional intelligence for emerging leaders. Her areas of interest in education are Teaching Learning Environments and brings her expertise in Team Based Learning.
As a recipient of the Singapore Millennium Foundation Fellowship, she received her PhD from NUS in Molecular Biology and Masters from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Developmental Biology. Her postdoctoral work at Duke-NUS was in metabolic disorders.
She uses her research experience together with frameworks in career development and adult learning to develop individuals and build communities in the spirit of continuing professional development.
