Research Associate (Senior), Lien Centre for Palliative Care

Duke-NUS Medical School

Bio

I am a Project Manager and Senior Research Associate at the Lien Centre for Palliative Care, Duke-NUS Medical School, where I lead research studies focused on advance care planning (ACP) and dementia. My work centres on improving how patients and families experience serious illness, through large-scale population studies and randomized controlled trials in dementia, heart failure, and oncology. I work closely with clinicians, researchers, and community partners to design and implement meaningful, patient-centred interventions, including digital health tools that support care conversations and decision-making.

With over 20 years of experience across pharmaceutical research, public health, and academia in Singapore, India, and the United States, I am trained in epidemiology and biostatistics at San Diego State University. I am deeply committed to translating rigorous research into practical solutions that strengthen care systems and empower patients and caregivers. I also mentor research staff and contribute to building sustainable research capacity within our programmes.
