Bio

Clinical Associate Professor Tan Ju Le is a Senior Consultant from the Department of Cardiology, and Director of the at Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) programme at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). She specialises in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD), Echocardiography and Pulmonary Hypertension.

Clin Assoc Prof Tan has gone for further training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London from 2003 to 2005. Main interest is in the care of adults with congenital heart disease, management of cardiac disease in pregnancy and pulmonary hypertension. She runs the monthly joint Cardiac Obstetric Clinic with obstetricians from the Singapore General Hospital.

She is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore.

Clin Assoc Prof Tan has written for numerous publications and is a co-author of several book chapters. She is also a reviewer of the International Journal of Cardiology and local journals like Annals, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She is involved in clinical trials and research in hyperlipidemia and pulmonary hypertension.
