Bio

Clinical Associate Professor Tan Ru San is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore. He is also in the Research EXCO for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Sciences Academic Clinical Programme.

He has founded a team of scientists and engineers that focuses research on cardiac imaging, cardiac mechanics, engineering and physiology using advanced computational models, including computational fluid dynamics, finite element analyses and artificial intelligence.

Clin Assoc Prof Tan is also an experienced clinical trialist, and has been a member on the steering committees of several multinational landmark clinical trials.
