Education Qualifications: MBBS, FRCR (UK), FAMS
Adjunct Professor Thng received his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1996. He is a radiologist and is currently senior consultant and Head of the Division of Oncologic Imaging, National Cancer Centre, Singapore.
He is a Principal Investigator holding research grants from the Singapore Cancer Syndicate (SCS-CS-0072) and the Biomedical Research Council (BMRC 08/1/31/19/577) for the use of DCE MRI for anti-angiogenic therapy and liver cancer. He has also received industrial funding for projects involving microPET and microMRI imaging of animals.
