He earned his Ph.D. (Medicine) in the Graduate School of Medicine/School of Public Health from Kyoto University, Japan, where he developed expertise in epidemiology and medical statistics. Assit Prof. Yohei Okada has dedicated his career to improving emergency medical systems and resuscitation strategies. His research focuses on the emergency care, resuscitation, heat related illness, trauma care, machine learning, etc.
Currently, He serves as an Assistant Professor at Health Services Research and Population Health Program, Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. With an impressive portfolio of academic contributions, Yohei Okada has published more than 140 peer-reviewed publications from high-profile academic journals, including JAMA Surgery, JAMA Network Open, Critical Care, Resuscitation, etc.
