Bio
Dr Jinran (Stella) Zhan is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Biomedical Data Science (Duke-NUS Medical School), and she serves as a biostatistician for the ADVANCE-ID network. Before joining Duke-NUS, she was a PhD Researcher in Biostatistics at the University of Warwick (UK) in collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany), and worked as a CMC statistician at GlaxoSmithKline (UK).
Her research focuses on the design and analysis of adaptive clinical trials, with particular interest in seamless phase II/III trials, Bayesian borrowing and their application to regulatory drug approval. As a statistician for the ADVANCE-ID network, she has contributed to the design of trials in infectious disease. She collaborates broadly across clinical research areas, including reproductive medicine, paediatric infectious disease, and oral health.
