Professor London Lucien Ooi, Associate Dean, Admissions

Prof Ooi is a senior HPB surgical oncologist and was immediate past Chair of Surgery at Singapore General Hospital, inaugural Chair of Surgery ACP at SingHealth-Duke-NUS AMC, and inaugural Director of SingHealth Transplant. In these senior management roles he was responsible for more than 16 clinical departments as well as clinical facilities like the operating theatres, clinics and wards, and has vast experience in interviewing and recruiting healthcare workers and management staff of all levels and backgrounds.
He is a keen educator and researcher with more than 200 publications and 14 books/chapters to his credit. He sits on numerous national/international committees, advisory panels, research, editorial and funding agency boards, and has numerous accolades and awards. He is currently Professor and Associate Dean at Duke-NUS, and Professor at YLL School of Medicine.
