Professor William Hwang on regenerative medicine and cell therapy
People who suffer from cancer, heart disease or eye issues may be able to have much better outcomes in future. SingHealth and Duke-NUS are collaborating on regenerative medicine which looks at restoring, repairing or replacing damaged cells, tissue or organs. They have launched an institute and a centre to develop the therapies and tools, before applying the solutions. Professor William Hwang, Co-director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Regenerative Medicine Institute of Singapore, shared more details.
