When will COVID-19 vaccines become available? (Bloomberg)
Linfa Wang, professor of the Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases at Duke-NUS Medical School, discussed the global effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic on "Bloomberg Markets: Asia." Prof Wang said he believes, 17 years after SARS, the world could have done better in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak. He also noted the fact that Asia and Africa have not been as seriously impacted may suggest their populations had been exposed to related viruses in the past.
