Bio
Dr Milton Chew is a Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre. His current practice includes the treatment of cataracts, including presbyopia correction in cataract surgery and the management of ocular Inflammation & uveitis, including the use of immunosuppressive therapy.
Dr Chew obtained his Medical Degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2011 and subsequently completed Ophthalmology Residency training at the Singapore National Eye Centre. He obtained his post-graduate Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in 2019, attained Specialist Accreditation, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2021. He completed his subspecialty fellowship training in the field of Ocular Inflammation & Immunology at SNEC in 2023.
Dr Chew has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented his work at various regional and international conferences. He has been awarded the Singapore Young Investigator Award in 2011. In addition, he is actively engaged in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate doctors and has been appointed Clinical Instructor with SingHealth Duke-NUS Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Programme.
