Bio

Dr. Mok Chi Wei is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at Changi General Hospital (CGH), specializing in both oncologic and reconstructive breast surgery. He is dedicated to advancing minimally invasive techniques, including endoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures, to enhance surgical outcomes for patients with breast cancer and other breast conditions.

Dr. Mok graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Dean’s List honors in 2010 before completing his postgraduate training in General Surgery through the SingHealth Residency Programme. He became a specialist in General Surgery in 2017 after earning his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then pursued subspecialty training in breast surgery, with a focus on innovative oncoplastic and minimally invasive techniques.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mok is actively involved in medical education, serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and mentoring students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

An avid researcher, he has published extensively on breast cancer and surgical innovations, contributing as a peer reviewer for leading journals, including the Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (JPRAS). He is also a co-author of the first textbook on minimally invasive (endoscopic and robotic) breast surgery, published by Elsevier in 2020.

Dr. Mok is passionate about pushing the boundaries of breast surgery to provide patients with safer, more precise, and cosmetically superior outcomes.
