Advancing Population Health through Translational Innovation and Improving Life Space

How can we improve and enhance population health through translational innovation and life space?

At our next Research Grand Rounds on 15 February 2023, 12.30pm to 1.30pm, join our speakers from the SingHealth Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI), Assoc Prof Low Lian Leng (Director, SingHealth CPHRI) and Assoc Prof Ng Yee Sien (Senior Consultant, Rehabilitation Medicine, Sengkang General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital), as they share about the 2 signature research programmes in the centre.

Assoc Prof Low Lian Leng will speak about the translation process from robust science to population for the EMPOWER mobile application which is developed under the National Innovation Challenge and AI Grand Health Challenge to provide AI-powered behavioural nudges for patients with diabetes and hypertension. Assoc Prof Ng Yee Sien will speak about the largest Life Space project in Singapore - Elderly Life Activity Space Envelopes (EASE) project, and potential interventions in Life Space to improve community mobility and population health.

Facilitating our Q&A session is Prof Julian Thumboo who is a Research Director and Senior Consultant Rheumatologist in Singapore General Hospital.
