About Us

The Centre for Career Readiness (CCR) serves as a dynamic catalyst for the professional development of Duke-NUS early career researchers (ECRs), offering a multifaceted support system designed to empower individuals to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits.

CCR is focused on five key areas of professional development:

  1. research skills, productivity, and impact;
  2. career path readiness;
  3. communication and collaboration;
  4. leadership and management; and
  5. wellbeing and resilience.

Through a comprehensive range of initiatives, CCR aims to equip ECRs with the skills, networks, and resources necessary to navigate the complexities of today's career landscape, enabling them to achieve their full potential in both research and non-research career paths.

Mission

To encourage, empower and support early career researchers towards pro-active management of their career.

Vision

Empowering early career researchers to be future leaders in diverse sectors.
